UHF broadcast panel antennas that are broad band from 470-700 MHz (expandable to 800 MHz) and are available in either 500 watts input (N female connector) or 2kW input (7-16 DIN female connector). The radiating elements inside the antenna are composed of structural aluminum that are attached to a tubular aluminum spine, giving the UHF panel antenna rigidity and strength. The radome enclosing the dipoles and covering the panel keeps rain, frost, snow, and ice from accumulating on the dipoles and is a UV stable polymer that will not crack or break in extreme hot or cold, providing years of protection to the internal feed and antenna dipoles in the most severe installation environments. Included with all models is standard galvanized mounting hardware for any mast or pipe OD size.

Horizontal or vertical polarizations are available in each power level, with higher power input avaialable upon request. Custom mounting systems are also available for either a tower top mount arrangement or side mount situations. Proper mounting is important because the UHF panels (and wavelength distance) are relatively small compared to most tower face widths, therefore it is vital that spacial placement of the individual panel antennas in a multi-panel array is done properly so that the coverage pattern is not negtively affected by the improper placement of the panels and their resulting destructive phase relationship on the coverage pattern. The UHF panel antennas feature low VSWR and exceptional PIM, ideal for digital applications where antenna band width is required. All arrays are fully tested live before being packaged up for shipping, with the test results provided for customer clarity.
