High Quality - Industrial Grade - Manufactured in Canada - Ships Worldwide
Composed of either stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized steel, the high VHF broadcast antennas in the 174-230 MHz band are manufactured with the finest materials available ensuring long product life. The high VHF panel antenna and the high VHF log periodic antenna are both broad band in design and cover the entire high VHF band from 174-216 MHz. Being broad band allows multi-channel operation in the same antenna, as multiple broadcast signals on any of Ch 7, Ch 8, Ch 9, Ch 10, Ch 11, Ch 12, or Ch 13 can be combined and broadcast out of the same antenna, thereby reducing tower space required for multiple operator sites. All high VHF antennas are made to withstand severe environmental conditions, such as extreme ice, frost, wind, and rain that exist on commercial towers. Included with all models is standard galvanized mounting hardware for any mast or pipe OD size.
The high VHF omni-directional turnstile antenna and the high VHF 2 element yagi antenna are broad band in nature but, unlike the panel antenna and log periodic, a single antenna does not cover the entire high VHF band from 174-216 MHz. The high VHF 2-element yagi antenna is tuned in 3 sub-frequency bands being 174-192 MHz, 192-210 MHz, and 210-230 MHz, each sub-frequency achieving about 20 MHz band width. The high VHF turnstile omni-directional antenna also has some inherent band width but fine tuning is done on a per channel basis. All arrays are fully tested live before being packaged up for shipping, with the test results provided for customer clarity.
